Privacy & cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only if you accept them. Here is what each tool collects, why I use it, and how to change your choice.

01

Google Analytics

Loads only after you press Accept. It shows me which pages people visit, the site they came from, their device and browser, and their rough location (country and city).

It also counts a few actions: opening a case study and reading to the end, clicking a booking link, LinkedIn or a product's website, copying my email address, switching tabs on the Work page, and sending the contact form (its topic only). It never receives your name, email address or message.

Google signals and ad personalization are switched off, and nothing is used for advertising.

Why: to learn which pages and case studies are useful, so I know what to improve.

02

Microsoft Clarity

Loads only after you press Accept. It records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) and turns this into heatmaps, which show where people click and scroll most, and replays of visits. The contact form and the message confirmation are always hidden from it.

Why: to see where a page confuses people, so I can fix it.

Microsoft may also set its own cookies on Clarity's domain.

03

Cloudflare

Cloudflare hosts this site. Like any host, it handles your IP address to deliver pages and block attacks.

Cloudflare Web Analytics runs for every visitor. It sets no cookies and doesn't follow you to other websites. It counts page views, the site you came from, your browser and your country, so I can see how many people visit.

04

The contact form

When you send a message, your name, email address, company (if you add one), topic and message go to my inbox through Resend, an email delivery service. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is sending it.

I use your details only to reply. You're not added to any mailing list. Ask me and I'll delete your messages.

05

Booking a call

The calendar on the Contact page comes from Cal.com and loads when you scroll near it. If you book a call, Cal.com receives the details you enter, and the call takes place on Google Meet.

06

Your choices

Change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. Declining stops both tools and deletes their cookies on this site.

You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt‑out add‑on.
